PYH Hotel Policies
PYH Travel Tournament Protocols
- Parental Supervision: Ensure all players are under appropriate supervision, either by their parents or designated team chaperones. Proper supervision helps maintain safety, discipline, and adherence to team rules.
- Hotel Policies: Adhere to hotel rules and policies, including check-in/check-out times, non-smoking room fees, curfews, noise levels, pool rules, and restricted areas. Respecting hotel guidelines ensures a smooth stay and reflects well on the team.
- Behavioral Expectations: Promote appropriate behavior and good sportsmanship at the hotel, hockey rinks, and during all team-related activities. Players are ambassadors of our team both on and off the ice.
- Travel Itineraries: Keep clear and accessible schedules with coaches and the team manager so all parties are aware of practice times, game schedules, and other team activities. Timeliness and organization are key to a successful tournament experience.
- Open Communication: Maintain open lines of communication between parents, coaches, and players to promptly address any concerns or changes in plans. Timely updates ensure everyone stays informed.
- Equipment Management: Ensure all hockey equipment and personal belongings are properly managed throughout the trip. All players must have their neck guards and mouthguards during games or they will not be allowed on the ice.
By following these protocols, we aim to make the travel experience positive, safe, and enjoyable for players, coaches, and families. Best of luck to all teams this season!
